Conditions We Treat
Inflammatory Arthritis
Inflammatory arthritis affects over 10 million people in the United States each year. It is a group of diseases characterized by inflammation of the joints and often other tissues. These include rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, juvenile idiopathic arthritis and systemic lupus erythematosus (lupus) among others.
Gout
Gout is a painful form of arthritis caused by a buildup of uric acid – also known as hyperuricemia. This can cause needle-like crystals to be deposited in the joints. Your body’s immune system reacts to this buildup of uric acid crystals by activating certain inflammatory cells, causing the pain associated with a gout attack.
Osteoporosis
Osteoporosis, which literally means porous bone, is a condition in which the bones become weak and brittle. When bones are affected by osteoporosis, they become porous and fragile. This makes bones less dense, weaker and susceptible to breaking. The loss of bone occurs silently and progressively. There are no symptoms until the first fracture occurs.
Services
Infusion
We are committed to providing the most comprehensive care while utilizing the most up-to-date infusion and injection therapies for a variety of Rheumatological conditions.
Ultrasound
An ultrasound scan, also known as sonography, is a medical exam that uses high-frequency sound waves, not radiation, to obtain live images from the inside of your body. Ultrasound exams allow providers to see problems with organs, vessels, and tissues without needing to make an incision.
Physical Therapy
A physical therapist (PT) can help you get moving safely and effectively. Physical therapists are licensed professionals with graduate degrees and clinical experience who examine, diagnose and treat or help prevent conditions that limit the body’s ability to move and function in daily life
